WHO HE IS - Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, Who is fully God and fully man in one person.

"In Him dwells all the fulness of deity in bodily form." - Colossians 2:9

WHAT HE DID - Christ came into the world to save sinners. As sinless man, He was able to represent sinners as One Who had perfectly obeyed the demands of God's law. As God, Christ was able to fully satisfy the demands of God's justice. He did this by being punished on the cross in the place of His people as the highest expression of His love for them. As their substitute, He bore the punishment from God which they deserved, thereby enabling them to escape the wrath of God.

"Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us." - Galatians 3:13

This deliverance from God's wrath comes through faith in Christ.
